IJBASS is firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, guided by the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). These principles define the ethical responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.

For Authors

Submissions must be entirely original and must properly acknowledge and cite prior work. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism and duplicate publication, is strictly prohibited. Authorship is reserved for individuals who have made substantial contributions to the work, and all listed authors must approve the final manuscript. Authors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest. Research involving human participants must comply with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and must have appropriate ethics approval and informed consent, where applicable.

For Reviewers

Manuscripts received for review are confidential and must be treated as privileged documents. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely assessments. Reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest and should promptly inform the editors of any suspected plagiarism, research misconduct, or other ethical concerns.

For Editors

Editors must exercise independent and impartial judgment based on the scholarly quality and relevance of submitted manuscripts. The journal follows a fair and transparent double-blind peer-review process, where applicable. Editors are responsible for handling allegations of ethical misconduct impartially and for taking appropriate corrective action, including corrections or retractions, in accordance with applicable COPE guidance.
